Opening Activity: Log in to Kahoot. Open Speed and Torque document and read through while you wait for Kahoot to begin. Tasks: 1. After Kahoot, wait to go through Gears Powerpoint. 2. Complete ALL gears worksheets. Open documents and show Miss O. once you have completed assignments. 3. If you have already finished, start designing and making a LEGO bed that will tip its occupant out when the sun shines on it. You will use a flashlight to simulate the sun. Use the Wakey-Wakey Engineering Design Process attached on the left. Save it to your personal folder until you are finished. |

Learning Goal: SWBAT describe the role of sensors in the field of robotics and how they are applied. Objective:Understand the use of touch and ultrasonic sensors.
Students will be able to understand and program the EV3 robot using the touch sensor. OBSTACLE DETECTION WORKSHEET AND PROGRAMS ARE DUE ON WEDNESDAY, 3/25. ANY ASSIGNMENTS TURNED IN AFTER THAT DATE WILL RESULT IN A GRADE OF 2.0 OR LOWER.
